Drum lessons are taught weekly on a private, one-on-one basis with a professional instructor in thirty-minute or one-hour increments. Our programs are offered year around so the students may begin lessons in our studio at any time. Hereto, there is no audition requirements to enroll in our studios, or any preliminary study needed.
In aiding to achieve each student's goals, lessons are taught from various internationally renowned texts', plus our own studio method books. We use RhythmTech's "Turn It Up and Lay It Down" CD for study in bass guitar/drum set rhythm section studies, and encourage participation in the Student Band Jam program to teach real world performance details with other musicians.
Along with each lesson topic, weekly practice material is given for take home studies. This material coincides with each lesson and serves as building blocks to the next stage in further understanding, knowledge and practice in building new skills. Moreover, we video tape our lessons on VHS tapes (we supply the tapes) and the student is able to watch the lessons during the week, aiding in the understanding of the lesson material even further.
