Piano lessons are taught weekly on a private, one-on-one basis with a professional instructor in thirty-minute or one-hour increments. Our programs are offered year around so the students may begin lessons in our studio at any time. Hereto, there are no audition requirements to enroll in our studios, or any preliminary study needed.
In aiding to achieve each student's goals, lessons are taught from well-known piano method books, which are supplemented with other materials by the teachers. Beginning piano students will learn basic piano technique, note reading, and rhythm. Intermediate and advanced students will build upon these basic skills while also determining which style of music they would most like to play. Progressive piano instructors are capable of teaching all styles of piano from classical to jazz to popular songs heard on the radio. All levels and ages of students are accepted from beginning to advanced, from young children to adults. Children who have not begun school must have an interview with the piano teacher prior to beginning lessons.
Along with each lesson topic, weekly practice material is given for take home studies. This material coincides with each lesson and serves as building blocks to the next stage in further understanding, knowledge and practice in building new skills.
